Continents of Delcres: Belledora

Delcres has three continents: Belledora, Lananova and Ferisdada.

Belledora is the largest continent and is shaped like an hourglass. It has the most biospheres and the weather most closely resembles earth's. There are still firestorms and crystal eruptions to be had among other magical phenomena.

Belledora is almost populated exclusively by dragons, glieres and panthers with few humans in sight. Humans do visit and live here from time to time. For the most part Belledora is mountainous and covered with a patchwork of cloudforests, valleys and lakes. The forests don't consist of "trees", rather they tend to be dominated by dryads which are colonial organisms that can be shaped like trees. The "leaves" of dryads tend to be coppery red, gold and orange due to minerals and deposits of fire magic absorbed from the ground. In colder climes, the water magic tends to turn these extremities silver or blue. Smaller dryads resemble giant flowers and can come in a full spectrum of colors regardless of climate, because their colors reflect the color of the sky and their surroundings on the ground.

Large fungi and photosynthetic animals also tend to frolic in these forests. Some of the photosynthetic animals, also known as flormeras, are constantly moving throughout life while others have a mobile childhood then literally "put their roots down" as an adult.
